Not every interview we did for this book resulted in a chapter. For instance, we interviewed Ed Pieniak in Brooklyn about his family's experience of helping to hide a young Jewish girl in their village in Poland. Although we went to the village and interviewed Pieniak's brother, we finally decided that we couldn't gather enough details to include the story in our book.
